Writer, director and star, Harry Michell’s debut feature CHUBBY FUNNY, will screen at the East End Film Festival, Curzon Aldgate on Friday 16th June, 2017 at 6.30pm. www.curzoncinemas.com/aldgate/film-info/eeff-2017-chubby-funny.

Starring Harry Michell, Alice Lowe, Julian Rhind Tutt, Asim Chaudhry, Anna Maxwell Martin and Jemma Redgrave, CHUBBY FUNNY is the story of wannabe actor Oscar (Harry Michell), who moves to London and gives himself a year to make his acting dreams come true.
But the trouble with Oscar is that he thinks he's special when he not, and when things don't go to plan everyone else is to blame, when in reality he's the culprit. So it's not too long before Oscar's facing the same old problems with friendships, relationships, and finding fulfilled contentment. Going for it armed with just his usual self-interests and a Christmas onesie, Oscar risks alienating the people closest to him as he navigates the winding road of a quarter life crisis.
